FRANKLIN BAKER NAMED TOP EXPORTER FOR DESICCATED COCONUT AT THE COCONUT INDUSTRY SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS

Franklin Baker Company of the Philippines has once again been recognized as the Top Exporter of Desiccated Coconut at the recently held Coconut Industry Sustainability (COINS) Awards, organized by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).

The awarding ceremony, held last September 2 at The Westin Manila, served as the culminating event of PCA’s National Coconut Week celebration. The event honored individuals, organizations, and communities that have made outstanding contributions to the coconut industry by demonstrating excellence in business, sustainable practices and innovation.

This year’s recognition also marked a significant milestone for Franklin Baker, as the company was inducted into the COINS Awards Hall of Fame for earning the Top Exporter of Desiccated Coconut distinction for consecutive years.

The award was personally received by Franklin Baker CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer Ferdinand Dela Cruz, underscoring the company’s strong leadership in sustainability and export excellence.

“The twin COINS Awards received by Franklin Baker are a testament to the resilience, grit and dedication of all the men and women of the Franklin Baker team. We dedicate this latest recognition to the 45,000 coconut farmers who partner with us, the 6,000 workers who rely on our plants and our global customers across 50 countries.”

This recognition stands as a powerful testament to Franklin Baker’s legacy of quality, and its unwavering commitment not only to delivering world-class coconut products but also to driving the long-term sustainability and growth of the Philippine coconut industry.
